I have seen this movie twice.
I have to say that it is probably one of the first really 'gorey' movies i have actually allowed myself to watch. I made the exception this time because first and foremost, I was originally told that Sleepy Hollow was, and I quote "A Harmless Chick Flick" and secondly i had to watch it because our boy Johnny was in it.
After watching it, i really couldn't decide wether I had finally overcome my fear of seeing heads cut off, or had just made the issue for me 100 times worse. But I did watch it a second time, so i guess the latter was correct.
I loved it in this movie, all of Ichabod's little quirks, like when blood was squirting into his face and the spider...his facial expressions were gold. Oh and I absolutley loved the scenes when he fainted. That was too funny.
And finally when he first realised that the horseman was real and he saw him kill that guy, and then later he was in his bed shaking and going something like "It was a horseman! Headless!"
Ah it was gold.
Well I've had my say...what do you guys think?

I love this movie, but when have Tim Burton and Johnny Depp ever gone wrong?
I'm a fan of the gore, so this movie seemed pretty tame to me, but I guess it does have a lot of decapitations, doesn't it?

Great film as usual, and so funny. You could tell Johnny was enjoying himself while making this film.
It wasn't too gory, come on. The heads came off but the wounds were cauterised so there was no blood gushing.

When I said 'gory' I meant it in the whole sense that peoples heads were being severed from their bodies...I guess it really wasnt gory, (except for the bit when his mum came out of that torture thing) I just don't like seeing heads decapitated or throats slit on screen. It's just one of my pet hates is all.

It's one of those things that doesn't have realistic gore or a lot of blood, well a lot of blood coming out of bodies, but it's still something that might gross people out and could scare children.
Children scare easy.

I hired this out this afternoon. It's alright. Johnny is excellent in it, but honestly i've only watched about 20 minutes of it. I keep getting up and doing other things, it doesnt seem to interest me much. I'll watch it again tomorrow and see if i can watch the whole movie

I can't leave my seat when he's on the screen.

I like that movie. I can't stop watching something that had both Johnny Depp and Tim Burton involved.

This was an awesome movie, and when I started actually "liking depp" I mean I grew up watching his movies, but I never really noticed how gorgeous he was till I saw this movie.
